Through a process of community-focused planning, the Ventura Superior Court identified its issues and stategies with members of the public. A community outreach team was convened to help the court identify community outreach needs. Chaired by Sheila Gonzalez, Executive Officer, meetings began in early 1998. Committee members included judges, elected officials, a community activist, business leader, clergyman, and court staff. The Community Outreach Team consists of the following individuals:
