The Ventura Courts Self-Help Legal Access Center is located on the 4th Floor of the Hall of Justice, in Room 400. The Center is open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. It closes during the lunch hour from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

The La Colonia Self-Help Legal Access Center is located at 1500 E. Colonia Road, #20, in Oxnard. The Center is also open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. It closes during the lunch hour from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.

The East County Self-Help Legal Access Center is located on the second floor of the East County Courthouse in Simi Valley. This Center is open Mondays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM excluding court holidays. It closes during the lunch hour from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

Each Center provides information to help people representing themselves navigate the court process. The Centers do not provide legal advice or representation, but they can provide legal information as well as information about affordable legal services.

The Centers have materials available for use within the center to assist people in completing forms and preparing court papers.
